Places to see in Arizona/California By: Mukund and Jayen

There are many places to see in both states. The places to see are Sedona state park, The Grand Canyon, The Musical Instrument Museum, and Biosphere 2. Now in California there are things like the Golden gate Bridge, the USS Midway museum which is an old aircraft carrier, I stayed at the Grand Hyatt Manchester (5 stars) and the Catamaran (2stars). I met my relatives like my Aunt and cousins. I also got many gifts. I did many more activities like bowling and playing tennis with my cousins.
The Grand Canyon is great. The Canyon is about a mile deep. It is about 4 to 18 miles long.  The canyon is mostly made of iron.  Erosion caused the deep valleys you see today. The canyon is mostly made from sedimentary rock. I went to the south rim of the canyon called Mather point. We didn’t see much, because it was very cold there. There was also a huge line for the bathrooms, it was like a 7 min wait.
The Sedona state park is great. In Sedona There are mostly rocks. Most of those rocks are red because they have lot of iron in them. Each of these rocks have specific names due to their size and shape here is a few: Cathedral rock, Cockscomb, Coffee Pot Rock, Thunder Mountain, Courthouse Butte, Chapel of the Holy Cross, Bell Rock, Snoopy Rock. We only saw a few but it was worth it.

There is also Biosphere 2 in Arizona. In the biosphere 2 it can simulate any environment. There are five biomes in the biosphere 2. They are rainforest, mangrove, ocean, savannah, and desert. In Biosphere 1 there was only an astronaut simulator facility. In biosphere 2 there is LEO Landscape Evolution Observatory. LEO area is to see how the soil develops over many years, simulating early earth development. They also conduct experiments on the hydrosphere, atmosphere, and of course biosphere. Biosphere acts like a big laboratory, in which experiments are conducted under controlled environment for research purposes by University of Arizona scientists.

The MIM or Musical Instrument Museum is huge. It has almost every instrument in the world. Each continent has its own room like: Latin America, United States of America and Canada, Europe, Oceania, Southeast Asia, East Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, Middle East, and Africa. You can also listen to music from an instrument that was in the exhibit, when you walk close to it. You can also play those instruments in the Experience gallery. There are many more galleries in that Museum like: Artist gallery, Mechanical music gallery and STEM gallery. The United states and Canada Gallery were the largest of them all.

Now in California is the USS Midway (Aircraft Carrier.) The USS Midway is an old aircraft carrier that use to be a ship in the military. You get to see were the navy, air force, and marines as well. It was bigger than 500 buses as well as 3 blue whales. In conclusion the USS Midway museum is huge as well as interesting.

The Golden Gate Bridge is FAMOUS for many reasons here are a few. First, The Golden Gate Bridge is red during the day, and at night it is gold because of all the lights. 2nd, The bridge has a Gate walk way that is super windy Hang in to your hat. Lastly, The Golden Gate Bridge was built in the 1930’s (That’s Old.) In Conclusion the Golden Gate Bridge is super fascinating.

In conclusion there are many great places to see in Arizona and California. Like, The Grand Canyon, Sedona, Biosphere 2, MIM, the Golden Gate Bridge, and USS Midway museum are great place to see. Don't forget to visit these places the next time you go. I am sure you will enjoy them.
